Kate & Jay | 08.17.08

There was so much love and so much laughter during this wedding. Kate & Jay are high school sweethearts and that just makes this love story that much cooler. They were married at the Elks at Bass Rocks in Gloucester on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. We did their formals on the rocks (really, quite an adventure) and it was a beautiful site! By the way, I have never seen a girl hike over the rocks in a floor length white gown like this girl–work it out Kate! Get ready for lots of smiles…I couldn’t keep this couple from smiling even if I had tried to:)

Got to keep it real;)

Kate had seashells as an accent and there happened to be one in the house that I stole for this shot. Kate’s jewelry was pearls from mom and dad:)

Her father walking her down the aisle. I just love how happy they both look, I can tell that dad definitely approves:)

Kate’s bouquet was beautiful!

I also loved the boutonnieres–they were very classic and looked great against the light suits!

Rad shot of the guys…loving that dark sky!

The bridal party…hot!

Okay, lots of smiles and kisses.

Love this one. So real and so happy!

My favorite…it reminds me of one of my favs from their engagement session!

Jay’s dad actually decorated this cake himself…very cool!

This salad was sooooooo good. Mmmm, just thinking about it makes me want another one.

Sometimes the hands just tell a story of their own. I love the story that Kate’s hands are telling here…can’t you just see the love?

A great laugh during the last dance.

Kate and Jay, thank you so much for inviting Simon and I to be a part of your day. It was so awesome to witness and share in your laughter and love. Looking through your images just makes me smile…I hope this sneak peek makes you two smile as well.
