Roselyn & Carlos :: Engaged

Yeah, so I kind of love city engagement shoots. I lived in the city for many years and it is nice to get out of the sticks and actually shoot somewhere else sometimes! (I also loved that Simon and I got to go out to one of our very favorite tapas bars after the shoot for some awesome food and sangria while people watching on Newbury Street.) Anyway, here are a few images of the adorable couple, Roselyn and Carlos. These two have such a wonderful connection: quiet, unassuming, beautiful! I loved walking around with them and finding little nooks and cranny’s along Beacon Hill’s adorable little streets:)

I know right…isn’t she beautiful!

Alright…I couldn’t decide between the overall view or the tighter one below?

Sometimes when I take an image I know that I want it to be in black and white and this was definitely one of those shots for me.

I don’t know…the peeling paint, the random laughter, the colors? I just kind of love it!

They are so rock n’ roll in this shot!

I figured I would give you a color one too. Do you see me in the image?

Buttery warm light is so great!

I can’t pass up scaffolding…EVER!

This is a hug that Roselyn always does to Carlos and I love the honesty of this moment between them.

Our final destination was Acorn Street, which is apparently the most photographed street in Boston. Oh, and it’s only like 50 feet long!!!

Seriously, I love my clients.
me: “Hey, do you want to sit on the uncomfortable cobblestones in the middle of the street?”
Roselyn & Carlos: “Sure!”
