Boston Children Portraits :: Clara

Meet beautiful Clara-bear. Clara is famous for the image of her taken when she was 6 months old—it is one of my most talked about images—and is one of my favorite photos that I have ever taken…ever! We have seen lots of photos of Clara’s older sister, Lucy, and so Beckie wanted to have a special session just with Clara and I was happy to photograph it:) We shot these at Endicott Park in Danvers, which was actually our second choice because our original meeting spot was unavailable, and I will totally be coming back here for sessions in the future.

I love how Clara looks like a little forest nymph here.

The backward facing foot totally makes this shot for me. I know, I’m kinda weird like that.

Clara is such a climber, so we had to incorporate it into her shoot.

This is a wonderful moment. I love everything about this shot…the curve of the waters edge, the ripples in the water, Lela holding her dress…everything!

This was Beckie’s one request, and Clara refused to look at her except for this one moment. LOL!
