White Cliffs Wedding :: Colleen & Dave
Colleen and Dave were married at the beautiful White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth last weekend! They had the most changeable weather I have ever experienced on a wedding day—sunny and hot HOT…big puffy white clouds and blue skies…cloudy…crazy scary clouds…a touch of rain…a full arch rainbow…overcast skies—it was amazing! I was loving the light and puffy clouds we got though, stormy days always give the best skies:) These two are just so much fun to photograph, I love the way they look at each other and interact and I loved all the different weather we got to photograph them in. Colleen is the sister of one of my past brides, Stephanie, and I just love seeing my clients again a couple of years later. I also think it is the greatest compliment to be hired by a sibling of a past client—thank you. They have this fantastic Irish family and twenty of them were able to attend Colleen’s wedding! It was pretty great to see all of their relatives in one place. Colleen and Dave chose to do a first look, which I am just such a fan of, and so we photographed them three different times throughout the day and got some awesome images. Jess came along on this wedding with me and rocked it out! Anyway, let’s get on with the photos!

Colleen’s dress was beautiful, simple…and perfect for her:)
Hot shoes! And we all loved that necklace, great for a seaside wedding:)
The hot girls with the hot shoes:) I LOVED the dresses that the girls wore. So classic, timeless, great shape, and a perfect fit on every girl. I really REALLY liked them:)
Colleen went for a tropical seaside theme (as opposed to the traditional nautical Cape Cod theme) and I loved the way it came out:)
Aren’t all of the flowers amazing?!?!
All three girls (Colleen, Stephanie, and Deidre) carried this rosary down the aisle. The “beads” are made from the flowers from their father’s funeral. It still chokes me up because it is such a nice touch and I love the way people incorporate their loved ones into their wedding.
Okay with the crazy color! The skies were crazy all day and I loved the dark sky versus mom’s pink dress and Colleen’s white gown. Beautiful!
This is a really nice moment caught by Jess!
Cutest flower girl and ring bearer.
The sun was crazy bright, but I like the tent shape behind them and the tall grass:)
I can’t believe the saturated color here either…amazing!
Blue skies…nothing but blue skies…
I love this one! Jess caught this great moment between them:)
Okay, so I have an obsession with driftwood and tall beach grass…sue me!
Totally worth the sit down Colleen, totally worth it:)
Alright, so I usually wouldn’t include a “rainbow” shot (I’m not a rainbows, and pink tulle dresses, and baby’s breath kind of girl). But how in the world can you get so lucky to have a full arch rainbow on your wedding day? Well, Colleen knows and that’s all that counts. What an amazing good omen and gift to receive on your wedding day!
The details were awesome! Remember, tropical beach theme? Nailed it!
Colleen and Dave, thank you for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day. You had a gorgeous day with all sorts of crazy weather, and I still love the moment when you first saw that rainbow:) I hope your honeymoon is awesome and that you are finding some time to relax!
