Santa Monica Senior Photographer :: Brianna
So how does a photographer move to a new part of the country and shoot a portrait session within a week? A lot of people have been asking me that. Well, it’s kind of a trick:) See, Brianna is actually one of my clients from the east coast who happened to be visiting the west coast in the 6 days that I was there before returning here to Boston (yes, I was only in my new home for 6 days before I turned around and got back on a plane to Boston, but not before visiting Toronto and shooting a wedding there with my friend Angela). So, we set up a time and place to do her senior photos and I LOVE the way they came out. Brianna is Marissa’s sister and I am so honored that she hired me for her senior portraits as well. It really is the biggest compliment when friends and family of my past clients hire me:) Anyway, It was fun photographing in a totally different part of the country and I do love me some California light!
Brianna wanted her photos with some palm trees…check.
I love this image, even though it is a bit soft and back-focused!
Do I even need to say anything with a photo like this? Didn’t think so.
I rarely ever shoot into direct sun but I thought it was worth it for this shot.
I even liked it in black and white.
Really…really with the amazing reflected light?!?!
I swear I could not take a bad photo of Brianna.
I love the feel of this one, might be my favorite from the session. And totally worth the sticky wet pants I had afterward:)
This was Bri’s favorite on the back of the camera. It is another fav of mine too:)
Shooting under a pier is fun. We don’t have that stuff in Boston. At least not that you would want to walk under, what with the Boston Harbor and all. Eeeewww!
