Boston Wedding Photographer :: Sheila & Andrew
Sheila and Andrew were married last weekend at the beautiful Granite Links Gold Club in Quincy on a fabulous day. The weather was amazing and the sun was shining and these two were just wonderful. I always say that I love my job, I’m sure you’re sick of hearing it, but I’m not sick of saying it:) And this wedding was a perfect example of why I love my job so much—there is so much photo goodness below. On this particular day I had the lovely Samantha along with me to photograph and my friend and colleague, Keith, was along too. So much fun! I know that Sheila is patiently awaiting these photos and wondering where the heck they are so I’ll just get on with the blog post. Oh, and a warning, BEAUTIFUL photos and TONS of them await you as you scroll through. I couldn’t decide so there are about a zillion. Whatever, it’s my blog and I can do what I want to:)
Sam took these shots of Andrew getting ready.
When I arrived at Sheila’s grandmother’s house the dress was hanging and the shoes were laid out on this fabulous trunk. Can you say yay for sparkly shoes?!?!
Sheila’s mom helped her into her dress.
There is something about a mantilla veil that I just love. I also happen to love the moment of putting on the earrings…I guess it is because it is the last thing a bride usually does and it’s such a quiet moment. Love.
Just before we did the first look. Sheila was up top waiting for the signal to come down, Keith grabbed Sheila’s reaction here.
And I got Andrew’s reaction below.
Love the anticipation of the first look. So much fun!
Sheeeeeeeeeiiiilllllaaaa! I can’t even say anything. You are so fabulously beautiful nothing I write can compare.
(BTW, I did NOT do anything to Sheila’s eyes here. This is really what she looks like. If she wasn’t so sweet I would hate her, but alas that is impossible because she’s awesome!)
For real. Stop making the rest of the world look bad. K? K.
At the church just before the walk down the aisle. Keith grabbed this one.
Love the entrance…always have:)
Another shot from Keith from up in the balcony. Reason #943 why it is nice to have a second (or third) shooter:)
The girls. Yeah, the whole bridal party was kinda fab:)
Oh, the flying V…always like this pose. This was shot by Samantha too:)
The whole bridal party…including the little ones.
Once we were at Granite Links the light was just stunning.
I’m a sucker for suspenders and bowties…what can I say?!?!
Then we headed down to “the ruins” by the golf club and got the most beautiful light.
Alright, so Sheila and Andrew kinda can rock a pose. Yeah, whatever, I suppose they’re sort-of good looking ;)
This moment was grabbed by Sam while I was shooting the above portrait.
Keith got this one while I shot the two below.
Yowzers Andrew…really?!?! Favorite alert!
Yeah I know…do I even need to say anything here?!?!
This is another favorite though. Look at them!!!
The pop of the green grass against the grey rocks is stunning. And the traditional bowtie…gah I love it!
One last quick traditional shot in the bridal suite.
The ballroom was decked out and beautiful thanks to the work of Studio One Twenty Three!
The cake was beautiful and I loved the little bit of bling.
Dancing…because I just love the dancing! The Boston Player’s Band kept the guests up and dancing.
