Ipswich Engagement Photos :: Ashley & Bobby
Oh I’m the worst:( School has started and my stress level is astronomical. For real, you should have seen me today running around the hallways and rubbing my temples just trying to get a grip on everything (I can barely eat right now and that’s how I know I am stressed out because, for real, we all know my obsession with food). I just have sooooo much to finish and it stresses me out but I am getting it DONE now! That’s what I get for spending an amazing weekend in Nantucket—well, I wouldn’t really give up those awesome three days for anything but it should have at least calmed me down a little bit:)
Anyway, Ashley has been so patiently waiting for these I can’t believe it! I loved this session and my goal the whole time was to get Bobby to laugh…so check and mark. I love the laughter and love in these photos. We actually rode down the Essex River to a private island in Ipswich and the back side of Crane’s beach and it was amazing! Then we finished off the shoot with the boat ride back up the river soaking in the beautiful weather, the gorgeous sunset, and relaxing with a perfect summer beer. Alright, so I maybe…kind of…have a slight crush on Ashley & Bobby now and can’t flippin’ wait for their September 2012 wedding:) Onto the photos!
We started and ended with laughter…you’ll see:) I like this shot because it’s not an image I would usually take. I like when I push myself like that.
Whatever, you’re both adorable.
A favorite. Don’t know why I like this one…I guess I just think it feels so real to me.
And this one. Thank you tree for offering such a beautiful little backdrop!
You know I love a smiling kiss. There is something so awesome about that moment. Love.
Favorite alert!!! Definitely my favorite shot from the day. I love the light (again, I never shoot directly into the sun so this was different for me) and the reaction between them.
Oh, if I find driftwood I will make you sit on it. You’ve been warned:)
I really couldn’t keep them from laughing.
Then we stopped at the back side of Crane’s Beach. I love Crane’s because it has the softest sand known to man. Seriously. The softest.
Perfect late sunset. Beautiful orange tones. Love.
Another favorite. I like the angle, the sky, the sandy path. This is a great moment too:)
I kept making Ashley & Bobby walk into the brush but the sun was to die for here!
