Gatsby-Style Wedding :: Andrea & Ward
If you’ve ever wanted to be transported right back to the 1920’s you should walk into a Gatsby-style wedding at Willowdale. Andrea and Ward created the perfect Gatsby-inspired wedding, complete with 20’s music, tall ferns in the tent, chandeliers and green drapery, and gold mercury glass candle votives. The entire party was a black tie affair, the guys wearing traditional tuxes and bowties (I love a good bowtie) the girls in black gowns and 20’s inspired hairclips, and Andrea wore a gorgeous and simple slip dress by BHLDN that ended in rows and rows of incredible beading, a feather embellished Daisy Buchanan-inspired hair clip, and beautiful classic T-strap heels. She looked like she walked right out of Jay Gatsby’s mansion…it was beautiful!
Andrea and Ward are bringing together 2 families (5 kids to be exact) and so their kids made up the majority of their bridal party and I loved it! They had a perfect warm sunny day for their wedding and I felt like there was photo overload at every corner, which was sort of awesome but I apologize in advance for all the detail boards! ;) Thank you to Lindsey for being my fabulous associate shooter for the day. :) I know Andrea and Ward have been waiting very patiently for their photos and so I’m going to get right to it. Oh, and please be prepared to see endless amounts of beautiful details, tons of smiles, and lots and lots of laughter and love…my favorite!
Last but not least, Ward and Andrea you two make me smile. :) And can we please note the finger waves in my hair…those took a while so they should get a shout out. ;)
