Hello and welcome!

Hi I'm Lexi, welcome to my blog:) I am Boston-based wedding and portrait photographer and I LOVE what I do! I enjoy fluffer-nutter sandwiches, really windy days, and the smell of musty basements. I don't like waking up early, olives of any kind, or people who drive slow in the fast lane. This is where I showcase lots of stuff about me, my photography, and my life. Some of it you'll care about and some…well…you won't. Here you will get a taste of who I am, what I do, and why I am obsessed with this thing called photography.

Emily & Michael | 07.26.08

Emily and Michael were married in Portsmouth, NH and held their reception at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye. We had a great time and this was a fantastic dancing crowd. All of the details were gorgeous…the wedding cake, the bouquets, the sand dollars as place settings, the lobster trap for cards–truly beautiful. They had a perfect day, albeit a touch extra sunny with not a single cloud in the sky (beautiful but bright)! Em & Mike wanted to make sure that they got a good appearance on the blog and I am NOT going to let them down:) Onto the photos…

So cute:)

This has such a great feel…very cool!

A dress detail.

Just after the vows.

Man and wife:)

The gorgeous Emily! Um…anyone else see the resemblance to Kate Winslet?!?!

This is my all-time favorite “guys” shot. Simon took this one and I LOVE it!!!

The toast that brought along this laughter is not repeatable on this blog…thanks Sarah:)

The beautiful flowers by Cymbidium Floral in Exeter, NH.

Okay, Emily looks…what’s that word I am looking for…umm…..oh yeah, AMAZING!!!

This was just after Emily ripped the hem of her dress on a stray nail. Did she get upset? Not even a little bit. If you look closely you can see the torn piece on the bottom:( Hey, a dirty and torn dress represents a good time had by the wearer:)

Um, seriously? Lourrrvvve it!

Ow, oww!

Dance with dad. This was such an emotional dance. Dad actually gave a speech and said he had the song picked out since the day Emily was born. It was a complete surprise to everyone…even Emily. The song was “Blue Eyes” by Elton John.

Lately we have been doing a second quick photo shoot with our couples if the weather and light permits and I have to tell you that something MAGICAL happens during this second shoot. I highly recommend it if you have the time and light at your wedding. You are more relaxed and we usually only have you for under 10 minutes and the most amazing images come out of it.

Get it Michael!

Are they a Tommy Hilfiger ad or what?!?!

Soft light + golden tall grass = ah…mazing!

Doesn’t that look so comfortable? I want to go sit in that grass for a little while:)

Mmmm…flare!

A great dip. Only Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” could get this type of reaction:)

And a little dance collage. There are SO MANY dance shots from this wedding, but here is a small sampling.
