Hello and welcome!

Hi I'm Lexi, welcome to my blog:) I am Boston-based wedding and portrait photographer and I LOVE what I do! I enjoy fluffer-nutter sandwiches, really windy days, and the smell of musty basements. I don't like waking up early, skiing, or people who drive slow in the fast lane. This is where I showcase lots of stuff about me, my photography, and my life. Some of it you'll care about and some…well…you won't. Here you will get a taste of who I am, what I do, and why I am obsessed with this thing called photography.

Lauren & Patrick | 09.20.08

I met Lauren and Patrick a year and a half ago, we shot their engagement photos about a year ago, and two Saturdays ago I photographed their wedding. It was a perfect fall day for a perfect wedding. They ended up with gorgeous warm light and built in plenty of time for photos—which we love. We heart this entire crowd, we photographed Lauren’s maid of honor in July and I just did one of their groomsmen’s engagement session a couple of weeks ago. They were great on the dance floor and Lauren smiled the entire day exclaiming how excited she was! I loved the colors too—chocolate brown and green with hints of white—hmmm…I wonder why:) Lauren & Patrick, Simon and I loved sharing in your day. Thank you!

A shoe detail.

Sometimes I like a really natural dress photo like this one. That’s the maid of honor and Lauren to the right.

Gorgeous Lauren…just gorgeous. Do you know how amazing you look?!?!

The gorgeous bouquet.

Lauren chose autumn hydrangeas for the bridesmaids and I just thought it was such a beautiful pop of color against the girls’ chocolate brown dresses:)

Patrick upon viewing Lauren in the back of the church…sigh:)

Could they be any happier?

Their reception was held at the beautiful Barn at Gibbet Hill.

Th girls taking a quick break during family photos. Simon snagged this shot:)

The girls against the silo.

Rockin’ a ‘tude.

The guys. This was taken by Simon and I am seeing it as a HUUUUUGGGGE studio canvas:)

The whole bridal party. Seriously…hot!!! (Do you recognize any of these people? That’s Emily & Michael on the left and Charlie in the middle.)

I love this shot in both color and black and white. The little circle in between them totally makes this shot for me.
See…check out that perfect light!

Yup, that’s a full dip…nice work Patrick!

Wow!

Another quick one grabbed while they were walking in.

Here are a couple of great night shots of the outside of Barn at Gibbet Hill. Lauren had these great illuminated bags and we wanted to make sure we grabbed them.

Alright—this was definitely a hold-your-hands-up-high type of crowd.
