I love winter sessions! One of the things I was missing in Cali is the snow and cold weather (I know, I’m the only person in the world who misses winter—whatever…I’m a little bit different). Anyway, Laura emailed me because she wanted to do a winter engagement session and we chose Newbury Street in Boston—my old college stomping grounds—and got a beautiful sunny afternoon for our session. These two are adorable and I had so much fun walking around and photographing them! Laura and Mike are planning a winter wedding for 2013 and I psyched to hear about everything they plan. I know that Laura—and her mom;)—is patiently awaiting these photos so I’ll get right to them:) P.S. Mike, you did awesome on this shoot!
This was just after the New Year and so we got some of the left over Christmas decorations.

Kinda love the laughter here:)

They brought their pup along too. Even though he only cooperated for a shot or two he’s so adorable!

Loved the light in this little alley way.

This one feels like a catalog shot to me…and Mike’s got “the look” down pat here:)

We popped over to Commonwealth Avenue for a minute and the light was amazing.

See with that awesome light?!?!

This laugh totally makes me smile:) I love the way that Laura is scrunching her nose…this is a favorite from the session.

Hot stuff! And no, that wind wasn’t cold at all…no…not even a little bit!

Okay, this is totally my FAVORITE from the session. I love the kiss, the interaction, the look Laura is giving to the camera—everything! Gah you two are so cute!

And then this laugh afterward is so fabulous!

This is outside of the Allsaints Spitalfields store on Newbury Street that has these fabulous vintage sewing machines as the window display…can you say awesomesauce?

And then we did one shot on this freezing cold staircase. This was the last shot of the session…love!
