St. Anslem College Wedding :: Smith Barn Wedding :: Jessica & Jay

Jessica’s dress was so beautiful. I loved the light in this shot.

A few details. They sewed Jess’s initials into her gown. Love that!

Jess and Jay chose to get married at the Abbey church on campus at St. Anslem college, where they met years ago. This is Ange’s shot and I adore the light pouring in from behind Jess and her dad.

After the family portraits but before the bridal party photos they had a little celebration with champagne.

The guys had paisley pocket squares but Jay had a really neat boutonniere.

He kept trying a serious pose for Angela but this is what she got every single time. One of my favorite things about Jay is that he laughs with his whole body, he can’t stop, and almost falls over. I flippin’ love when someone commits to laughter like that…it makes me sooooo happy:)

The girls were gorgeous. Another fabulously beautiful bridal party. Jess told me “oh yeah, I’ve been collecting them for some time now” ;)

ANTM anyone?!?! Check and mark. Gorgeous. Oh, and girls without rings on your fingers…I’m expecting calls soon ;)

The guys did do one serious pose for me. I’m in love with this shot. Hotness gentlemen…hotness!

I really wanted to do this shot but didn’t know if it would come out so I didn’t want to make the whole bridal party pose up there if it didn’t work, but one of the girls suggested we try it and I’m so glad we did! Favorite bridal party shot:)

Then we went to The Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm for the reception and the details were awesome!

Inside the barn. I love the amnesia roses and hydrangeas in steel pails, the herb accents, the lights in the barn, the apple seating cards, little bride and groom chalkboards. Loved it all Jess!
