Holy hotness! These past few days have been crazy hot…and so I have been spending them poolside instead of in my un-airconditioned office. I have an air conditioner, I just need to enlist someone to come over and install it so I can then start doing that pile of work that is still looming over me. :) All in due time, Lexi, all in due time.
Anyway, I am so excited to share this lovely blog post with you! And since it is Elenie’s birthday today (happy birthday Elenie!!!) I thought it was serendipitous timing that I finished the post today. :) Elenie and George were married a couple of weeks ago on one of those days that gave us beautiful overcast light and threatened rain all day (but didn’t actually deliver any real rain) with pretty gray skies and, albeit, a bit of wind. ;) This was a Greek wedding, complete with lots of traditional aspects—the crowning service during the ceremony (my favorite), the kalamatiano circle dancing (wild), and the traditional money dance (so fun). Lindsey and I had so much fun photographing this lively and celebratory crowd and I love the snippets we got! Enjoy the sneak peek!
Details. This was Elenie’s mom’s charm, which was later pinned to Elenie’s dress for good luck.

Girl after my own heart…check out those amazing Dior shoes!!!

I love when my brides laugh like this…love it!

One of Elenie’s nieces. I won’t lie…I was tearing up here too. Such a beautiful moment!

Lindsey was with the guys while they prepped.

This is Elenie’s sister, Nikki. It’s an adorable moment and I had to throw it in. :)

This is one of my favorite shots. I love the interaction between Elenie and her dad.

I love how you can see Elenie smiling here just through her eyes. Love that!

Elenie’s request with the stained glass.

This is George and his brother. Had to put this in!

Hello pretty ladies. I love the way the wind is blowing their hair.

The next few may show you how happy these two were. :)

One of my favorite shots of the day. Love!

It was a bit windy but I like the way Elenie’s veil is blowing here.

The details in the Granite Links ballroom were beautiful!

Really…could you two be happier?!?!

A few awesome moments during the toasts. I love when there are this many emotions. :)

Elenie and George, I had so much fun at your wedding and was honored to be a part of your day. I hope the honeymoon was awesome!
