Holly and I met up early in the morning for this photo shoot. I often don’t photograph in the morning but if the afternoon or evening is tough to schedule in the summer, then the morning gives us early light when it is also much cooler and it’s a great time to photograph because it is less busy. We met up for Holly’s senior portraits in Boston in Copley Square, which has so many little nooks that I love to photograph. We then we hopped over to Boston Public Library for a few more pics. Yes we did have permission to be there for a few photos, plus early in the morning is the best time since it was rather empty. The BPL is always a favorite spot to photograph but does require a permit so I don’t get to photograph there too often. So so pretty though!
Holly told me she was going to make her own dress for this shoot and I was astounded when she showed up in this adorable lace back baby doll dress. Yes people…she MADE that gorgeous dress! Holly is an artist and plans to go to art school and I love when an artist comes to the shoot with an idea of what they want in their photos. Holly wanted a more film look to her photos for a bit of a vintage 70’s throwback. Love the style on this girl!
