Gabby & Dan | Engagement

I met up with Gabby and Dan last week in Boston for their engagement shoot. I, very sadly, will not be photographing their wedding because they are planning it in California—although I do have to remind them about destination weddings…we do travel;) In any event, I had never met them before and I had such a good time walking around Boston talking to this couple, they have a very unique love and very unique connection. Gabby and Dan, you two rock and I enjoyed our evening together. I hope these images make you smile as much as I have just editing them:)

Local scaffolding. No one ever thinks to photograph the scaffolding, but I love the whole series of images shot here:)

Commonwealth avenue.

That’s my old dorm back there. We stopped here and I though it was funny that it was right in front of my old dorm. Yes, I dormed in an old brownstone on Marlborough Street—tough life, I know;)

Probably my favorite from the day. Something about the completely uninhibited laughter here makes me smile from ear to ear every single time I look at it. I love that you two laugh with each other this much!

The public gardens and a weeping willow tree.

Dan, I am so happy that you can make Gabby smile like this…you two are awesome!

I love trees like this that have branches that go all the way to the ground. This is actually a weeping beech tree, and I posed under one on my wedding day so I kinda have a soft spot for them.

So we did a decidedly Boston engagement shoot and had to include the cabs in the back, I love the quality of light in these photos.

The Berkeley T stop…loving those old green line stations:)
