Boston Wedding Photographer :: Stephanie & Chris
Stephanie and Chris were married this past weekend at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club. The weather was amazing and so wasn’t the couple. Sometimes everything just comes together perfectly and this was one of those weddings. Beautiful weather, great family and friends, everything ran on time and smoothly. Just a fabulous day! I had met Stephanie in a teahouse in Newburyport one summer evening last year and we chatted about everything that she was planning and how hard it was to be away from Chris (they had to live apart for a period of time). So I had never met Chris before Sunday and was he ever the consummate gentleman—opening doors at every turn, always letting the ladies go first, it was really fun to watch. And the two of them together? Magic. Pure magic. I’ll just get onto the photos because there are a ton of them:)
I’ll start with a few details. I loved Stephanie’s blue shoes…stunning!
Her bouquets were beautiful pops of color. She told me they would be bright and bold and they were gorgeous!
The first look. These stunning shots were grabbed by Lindsey, who was helping me out that day:)
The guys. I heart the suspenders:)
They wanted a “boy band” shot. Kinda love it.
The guys gave up their jackets so we grabbed a couple with the girls. This is Lindsey’s shot too:)
We hopped in the gold carts to ride around and grab shots of the two of them. Love this! And yes, I was absolutely leaning out of the golf cart while Lindsey drove:)
The aviators are kind of awesome.
They requested a shot with the sprinklers. It was hot hot hot outside, so we got to stand in the mist for a few shots.
I love that you can see the mist here.
And then the sprinkler got a little too close for comfort:) It is here, in this moment, that I fell in love with Stephanie and Chris. Steph’s shoes had already bled blue onto her dress, she got wet in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown, and the whole time she laughed and laughed and Chris laughed right along with her. I heart my clients soooooo much! Live life to the fullest.
Gah this is a favorite. Steph, you’re stunning.
And Chris, yowzers. Seriously?!?! Love this shot grabbed by Linds.
Last shot out on the golf course. Right after this while driving back up to the golf club Lindsey turned and said to me “I think I should make it a stipulation in my contracts that all my clients are this fun…they’re awesome!” I was all proud, “I know, my clients are amazing!” Big smile face :)
The whole wedding party. I don’t suggest asking for this type of shot unless you have a fabulous dad like Steph’s dad who can corral all 120 guests in a matter of minutes. Thanks John:)
Steph had beautiful details with pops of color everywhere in the ceremony and reception rooms.
They opted for a fingerprint tree and it was beautiful!
Although it did leave you with a green thumb all night;)
Steph’s dance with her dad was so fun. This was the part where they went into “twist and shout”
The rings. I’d love to take all the credit for this shot, but alas, I can’t. This is my shot but it was all Lindsey’s idea. So cute:)
