Willowdale Estate Wedding :: Renee & Joe
Happy Wednesday! Happy middle of the week. Whew…I really do like a long weekend, it always helps the week following it. :) I honestly think we should reconsider the 3-day weekend 4-day work week setup, much better for everyone involved.
Anyway, next up on the blog are the awesome Renee & Joe who were recently married at the beautiful Willowdale Estate. I happen to love this place…just gorgeous grounds and so much photo goodness to look at. Renee and her mom and her sister-in-law did most of the details and the whole place was decked out in reds and pinks and whites. Very classic and very beautiful. The weather was kind of perfect (I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately and soon it won’t be true but so far it’s been a great start), the bridal party was fun, the party was hopping, the couple…amazing. I had the ever fabulous Samantha and Keith along with me for the day and they made for a great day as well. Gosh I’m a happy photog lately. :) I really need to stop talking and just get to the photos because there are kind of a lot of them…so here goes!
A few of the details starting the day. Gorgeous!
Renee getting into her dress. I love her expression here.
A few details as you came into the estate and walked out to the ceremony.
The flowers were beautiful. I loved the pops of red everywhere.
Renee told me one of the most important parts of the ceremony was the moment that Joe first saw her. I think we nailed it! That’s my shot on the left of Joe and Keith’s image on the right of Renee and her dad.
Samantha’s view of the ceremony. Love having a second (and on this day a third) shooter. Great moment that you caught Sam!
I love the lens flare in this shot.
The gents, grabbed by Samantha.
I love a happy bridal party. :)
Not exactly sure what is happening in this series that Samantha got? But you should have known I would put it on the blog Joe. ;)
Well hello sassy ladies!!! Renee’s mom is her matron of honor…is that not the sweetest thing ever?!?!
This great shot was grabbed by Samantha.
The light in this spot was p.e.r.f.e.c.t.
Renee. I adore you. And this shot embodies exactly why.
We had to sneak down to the little boardwalk.
This is a little traditional for me but I love this shot of you both.
The intro. They had rally towels (which they totally had to explain to me what a rally towel was) and I loved all the commotion that their guests made with them. Awesome.
LOVE this shot from their first dance. Could Renee possibly look any happier?!?! Gah, I love it!
Now this crowd could dance! For real…all night the dance floor was hopping!
I don’t usually include the mother and son dances…but this one kind of stood out. :) They did a whole series of dances to “teach me how to dougie” and other hip hop favorites, and I loved what we caught.
Boston Uplights always does the most amazing job with this tent. Well…they do an amazing job either way but the lantern and uplighting package is just kind of amazing. :)
Renee & Joe, I had a blast photographing you two and I hope you like the sneak peek!
