A Quick Review of 2011

For this post I wanted to put out a very special thank you to my amazing clients. You inspire me daily with your incredible willingness to share your lives with me. I am honored, and humbled, to be chosen to photograph such awesome events in your lives. You invite me in to take an intimate peek at your families and your loves. Loves big and loves small. When I look back through the thousands of images that I take each year it makes me smile to know that I was a part of such spectacular events—both the big extravagant weddings and the intimate ceremonies on beaches, the sunny summer days and the rich color that the rain offers, the babies not yet born and the families, the laughing couples and the puppies, the boats on the water leading to private little islands, the warm California sun and Boston’s Newbury Street in the winter. I am always honored, for every moment.

And so when I say my clients are amazing and you think I am writing it just to make you feel good…I’m not. You guys blow those other clients of other photographers out of the water. Not because you are my clients and I’m your photographer, but because you are real people with real life stories and you’ve allowed me to be your storyteller. That, by my measurement, is a really awesome gift. I appreciate it and it does not go unnoticed…I just wanted you to know:)

My 2011 weddings were amazingly beautiful!

I am so so so excited to see what 2012 brings! I am fully booked for this wedding season (insert blushing here) and I love all of the couples that have booked with me:) Each year offers something new—a new approach or a new challenge or a new outlook on things—and I’m thrilled to see where this season brings us.
