It threatened rain all day but we stayed almost completely dry for Casey & Derek’s beautiful Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding. I just love a spring wedding and with a couple as easy to photograph as these two the day was perfect! Casey’s look was classic and timeless—she wore a stunning lace a-line gown, pearl necklace and earrings, and Derek gave her a beautiful Kate Spade gold bracelet. The girls had light pink dresses and garden inspired bouquets while the guys were in classic gray suits with simple white boutonnieres. All of the details were rustic but elegant and the signage by Antea was beautiful.
Most important though was how much these two love each other. Casey and Derek just made me smile the whole day behind my camera. They are loving and kind and happy and that just made photographing them so darn easy! Okay, I just have lots of photos to share and should just get to it already!
• Casey had two pairs of shoes and the booties came in handy when we needed to trek out to my favorite spot at gibbet on the misty wet ground
• Every single time I told these two to cuddle up they just melted into one another and smiled big huge smiles…such a joy to photograph
• These two didn’t bat an eye when the rain started for a minute and Casey was willing to bustle her dress and walk a bit for photos despite the rain threat—it was worth it!
• Bubbles…I just really like bubbles in a group photo. :)
