Boston Maternity Photographer :: Mandi :: Belly session

One of my best friends in the whole world is having a baby, like, REALLY soon! We decided to do a belly session just days before she was due and we were hoping that it might entice baby Mia to make her entrance into the world. It didn’t. So far miss Mandi is still waiting for baby Mia. We chose the only sunny day that was forecasted last week to do the session and the sun threatened to stay hidden for the entire session, but it peeked out a couple of times and we got some of my very favorite shots toward the end of the session on the beach. Anyway, here are a few of Mandi and her almost-ready baby Mia.

Mandi, you’re beautiful. Just sayin’!

Mandi has a tendency to, ahem, frown a little bit in her photos…so I like the smile here:)

It was right about here that she got whistled and beeped at. When is it ever appropriate to whistle and beep at a pregnant girl?!?! I realize it is a Red Sox jersey and all (and we did just sweep the series against the ever-hated, horrible Yankees…just had to throw that in there for good measure) but come on now:)

One of my favorites!

Those eyes! Seriously girl…you’re amazing!

This ended up to be a fav even though I thought nothing of it right out of the camera. Love it!!!

The sun on the beach. Who knew Revere Beach could be so pretty?!?! Okay, okay, I tease. But my mother is originally from Revere and grew up working on this beach, so I’m allowed to poke a little fun:)

I really love this shot of Mandi. Yes, I realize you can only see half her face but the expression, the light, the hair…everything about it makes me happy!

The light!

These next two are Mandi’s favorites.

From the back of the camera she loved this one:)

Mandi, I don’t even know where to start? We met so many years ago it is kind of crazy to see you about to embark on the fantastic journey of becoming a mother. We have too many memories to share on here—and most of them would not be blog friendly anyway;)—but I hope you know what an important part of my life you have been. You truly are one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, inside and out. Your caring nature and fun personality are part of what I love most about you and I know that your daughter is someday going to list those among her favorite qualities of her mother:) I can’t wait to meet baby Mia and I hope you love these photos.
