There is something particularly special about being invited to capture the moment a couple decides to spend their life together—the moment one person asks and the other person says yes! And this one being at the top of the Prudential Center Skywalk Observatory on a gorgeous fall day will definitely be one to remember. Bryce started planning this a few months ago all the way from Texas. We would not be able to meet beforehand as they were taking a trip up to Boston and he was planning a surprise proposal. He contacted me, and I immediately agreed to photograph it. The day came and was perfectly sunny and gorgeous and Nikki was totally surprised. Let’s get to the photos!

• After the proposal we walked around Newbury Street giving Bryce and Nikki a very true Boston photo experience

• I love the tender moment of these two looking at the ring toward the end of the post. Not because it is a beautiful ring (and it is) but because that ring represents an awesome promise these two just made and that quiet gesture makes me smile :)
