I am really glad that I tend to be chatterbox. It has been said that I could make friends with a paper bag…and I’m pretty sure that’s true. :) So when I sat next to Darshini on a plane back to Boston—after visiting my Oma in Milwaukee this summer—I really thought nothing of it. Chit chat and pleasantries soon led to business card exchanges (or not really…because I am the worst with actually having or carrying a business card) and soon after Darshini contacted me to photograph an engagement session of her and her long distance fiance, Saket. He is in med school here in Boston and Darshini has been working in the midwest but just got a job here and so she will soon be joining him in lovely Boston as well. These two are getting married in February in India and I am so sad that I won’t be flying out to photograph their wedding. With the way these two are in front of the camera I am very jealous of their actual wedding photographer. :)
Favorite Moments:
• The perfect fall day we got (just before it turned super cold)
• How these two claim they couldn’t pose…yeah right!
• Finding little nooks that were not crowded and covered with people wearing Red Sox jerseys (this was photographed on Red Sox rally day in Boston…whew)!
• That they were willing to do anything (even lay in the leaves) for a good photo!
