It’s senior season! I love when this time of year comes along—the late summer/early fall time of year. The weather starts cooling down (at least at night) and I start looking forward to all that the fall has to offer. I know we all love summer—trust me, I know and I’m really not trying to rush it—but since my summer routinely ends earlier than most (because I’m a high school teacher with tons of professional developments days before the students start) one of the things I really look forward to is senior portrait season. :)
Larisa was so much fun to photograph! She had that perfect laugh and was so natural in front of the camera, I was in photographer heaven. We walked around the Boston public gardens and my very favorite nooks in Beacon Hill and got the most beautiful evening light. I only found out after the shoot that Larisa was nervous because she had not had good luck with other photo shoots and I could not believe that anyone could have ever taken a bad photo of this young woman. Not only is she stunning, and the camera loves her, but she is also so sweet and takes direction really well. Anyway, I hope I calmed her nerves and proved that she can be amazing in front of that lens!
Favorite Things:
• Every one of Larisa’s outfits was perfectly coordinated—simple, fun, and professional
• Um, those Stuart Weitszman shoes with the fringe…I die!
• That smile and laugh…I got serious photos but I just loved Larisa’s laugh :)
