Ashley & Chris chose the beautiful Halibut Point State Park in Rockport for many of their wedding photos—like their first look (love) and wedding party photos. The Cruiseport Gloucester held both their ceremony and reception and the whole day was a stunner! Ashley and Chris got the most perfect fall day—bright clear sunshine (really, this light took my breath away), leaves just starting to shift, temp in the low 70’s, seriously perfect. The girls wore beautiful mint dresses, and the guys were in mismatched mint colored ties and grey suits (my favorite). The day was full of love and smiles, and stories that made us cry (really, during toasts both Lindsey and I were crying—it was such a touching story).
The reception room at Cruiseport was stunning—filled with white sequin tablecloths and amazing florals that were bright and fun and just a touch sparkly. For more details they had signature drinks and a cigar roller, and even a caricaturist to entertain guests all evening. Gah, I’m just going to get on with the photos so you can have a taste of all the loveliness on this brisk fall weekend. :)
Favorite things:
• mint dresses!
• adorable flower girls with puffy tulle dresses :)
• men in suspenders (big love)
• white sequin tablecloths…I mean…come on now…REALLY!
• caricaturist <3 • The way these two love each other, it makes me happy.
