Cruiseport Gloucester Wedding :: Cara & Dan

I’m sick. :( And whenever I get sick you can be assured that I will complain about it on my blog. [It’s my blog and I can complain if I want to….complain if I want to…complain if I want to.] I always get sick on vacations. It’s like a really sick cosmic joke. Someone thinks it’s really funny to see me sick when I’m supposed to be resting (or enjoying some time in the sunshine). Blah! Alright, enough of my whining, onto this gorgeous wedding.

Cara and Dan were another of my amazing October couples (seriously, October rocked my wedding world this year) and they were absolutely incredible! I know I say that about all my couples (and I really mean it) but every couple has a different style and a different interaction and these two just really made me and Lindsey want to be friends with them…like besties…forever. They had this gorgeous day with warm light and lots of time for photos and the reception was at the beautiful Cruiseport. There were incredible details with stunning table settings and these amazing floral arrangements (okay, maybe I have a thing for hanging amaranth flowers), there were signature drinks and pops of purple everywhere, the day was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Cara and Dan were also willing to do some photos outside at Cruiseport, which offers this really neat boatyard and is a perfect spot for some of that high/low contrast. I love a dressed up couple against a gritty background…hot! Cara and Dan, I was honored to be your photographer and I hope you like looking at the photos again. Oh, and I miss you both. :)

Things I loved about this wedding:

1. How fun the whole day was
2. The stories about Cara’s younger sister
3. Dan’s awesome purple argyle socks
4. Cara’s pure unadulterated humor
5. Dan’s ability to make Cara laugh at every turn
