Wow…where to begin? I loved so much about this wedding it is kind of silly. The light, the calmness, the smiles, the laughter, the expansive lawn, the hidden gardens, the amazing couple. Yeah, there wasn’t much I didn’t like. :) Erin and Dave were married on a stunning day in Waterford, CT. Their wedding was held at the Eolia Mansion, which is a location to die for…really, you’ll see! I felt like at every turn there was the most picturesque location for a photo, and combine that with this adorable couple and I was one very happy photographer. These two are adorable together—Dave is, maybe, just a little camera shy but he looked so darn dapper on the wedding day (big love to a great grey suit) and Erin is such a classic beauty and the camera loves her so every time I photographed them I smiled. :) I’ve known these two for a while. Dave is Kim’s brother (so you may just see Kim and Rich in the wedding party as well) and it was an honor to be both the photographer and a guest at this fabulous wedding.
I know I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again. I love every wedding I photograph and I truly feel like the luckiest photographer because I continually attract the most amazing couples but it is the highest honor when my friends trust me to capture their day and, Erin & Dave, you two did not let me down. I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun Chris and I had and I hope you like the sneak peek!
Favorite Things:
• The sun kept peeking in and out of the clouds the entire day making the light so pretty!
• Erin and Dave were married outside on the lawn…I adore an outdoor wedding
• During their first look Dave was reaching back for Erin and she was smiling and laughing the whole way…<3
• There were several small moments between Erin and her dad…I loved every one of them!
• Forehead kisses. I just really like forehead kisses. :)
Erin and Dave, I’m beyond honored that you chose me to photograph your wedding and I can’t wait to share all of the photos soon! And when do I get to see you again…Nantucket?!?!
