School started yesterday and I was busy working on my final day of summer! So naturally on Monday (Labor Day) while working at my computer I bought 3 dresses, 3 skirts, and a pair of coral shoes online. I wish I was kidding…I have a serious dress problem. I like to think of it as my “school shopping” but it really is just feeding my dress/retail problem. Some of you may even notice that I’ve been shooting my weddings in dresses, this was a big step forward for me but I prefer to be in dresses in general so I feel like it fits my brand better. ;)
Anyway, let me tell you about the fabulous Bekah and Jeremy. They got the brightest and sunniest day for their wedding! I almost thought it was too bright because it was hard to see while I was shooting but the sun gave us the most lovely rich colors. They were married on the lawn of the beautiful Barn at Gibbet Hill (you know this is one of my favorites) and gave me lots of photo time (another favorite) complete with a first look (favor…wait…you’re getting the point, right). I seriously could not take a bad photo of these two, I may have even tried just for fun. ;) Lindsey was along with me for the day and even she agreed! Between the grey suits, burlap tied boutonnieres, navy lace bridesmaid dresses, cowboy boots, and bright wildflower bouquets (made by Bekah’s mom…amazing Paula…seriously) I got awesome color and tons of gorgeous details. I may have gone on detail-board overload in this post, sorry. The wedding was full of love and laughter. Lots and lots of laughter—laughter was even mentioned during her dad’s speech—which I think you’ll see in the photos. Big love for these two, enjoy. :)
