Ashley & Victor’s wedding day started with one of those constant misty mornings that turned into a pretty steady rain by the afternoon. When I stepped inside the Glen Manor House for this beautiful wedding Ashley was all smiles saying she had embraced the rain, which is the best possible way to be on your wedding day. But just before we stepped outside for family photos we were checking the satellite on a weather app and we could finally see a break in the storm…and it stopped! We were so lucky the rain held off for us to be able to use the beautiful grounds of the Glen Manor House—from the rolling lawns and mature gardens, to the architectural arches and stone patios, all the way down to the dock on the ocean…we played everywhere.
I cannot begin to say how much I adore these two. After their beautiful Boston engagement session in the fall I was looking forward to getting them in front of the camera again! They smile and laugh together and every photo I took exuded elegance and a timeless kind of romance that made me smile. The girls were gorgeous in their bright pops of pink, the guys were dapper in traditional black tuxes, and the bouquets were mixes of hydrangeas, peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus bringing in perfect pops of white and raspberry to offset the sophisticated gold accents in the reception rooms. So classic for a Glen Manor House wedding! I know these photos are being very patiently awaited so let me just get right to them!
• Ashley’s gorgeous Martina Liana illusion neckline gown was to die for…those buttons gah!
