I’m sitting in the quiet of my house. No, no…relishing in the quiet. The rooms are all clean and in perfect photo condition. Over the last few weeks we have refinished the floors and spackled and painted every nail hole in the house…replaced all of the switch plates that were missing on the walls…spot painted all the interior trim…painted the upstairs floors…repainted the deck, the exterior, and the trim of my house…threw out an entire dumpster worth of stuff (really, how does one collect a dumpster worth of stuff in her house after only three years)…and redecorated my house for sale. And in a few short months I will be moving 3000 miles across the country—3031 miles to be exact—to embark on a new journey in my life. I’m relishing in both the quiet and the clean of my house before my open house starts today. I have always loved my house—my first house—and although I am slightly melancholic about putting it on the market I am also proud of it. This is my very country house and it looks great, now all we have to do it keep it looking this way:) Here are a few pics of the house.
The kitchen. I probably bought this house based entirely on the kitchen…I still love it!
Dining room…umm…my floors look amazing. Just sayin’!
Oh, and if you know anyone who is looking for a house…send them my way!

Wow you did such a great job with the house! Maybe you have a side career in interior design? that’s seriously like my dream house.
Lol Liz…thanks for the compliments! I do love to decorate, but I’m not sure my antique/country style is going to mesh with my new west coast digs:)
Well,I’m sure it will sell quickly. It has so much character…beautiful
