Indian Pond Country Club Wedding :: Shaylin & Jason

Wow. Seriously…wow! Okay, I know I’ve told you before but I’ll tell you again that one of my favorite things about photographing weddings is that each and every one is totally different. Some are quiet and reserved, some are serious and emotional, some are fun and loud—every single one is a representation of the couple and I just adore that. So Shaylin and Jay (or Shay & Jay as most of their friends call them) are undoubtedly gorgeous (you’ll see), but one of my favorite things was that their wedding day was full of smiles and laughter and this group can party…check out all the dancing! I said in their sneak peek that I could not get them to stop smiling and I really couldn’t—the love and laughter these two showed made me so happy all day! They are high school sweethearts and I love photographing couples that have been together for a long time because there is such a connection and I think it shows in all of their photos.

So down in plymouth a couple of weeks ago it was a very warm weekend! The sun was bright and beautiful…but hot. We searched out all the shady spots down by Priscilla Beach and had access to one of the most gorgeous back decks overlooking the beach for a few photos of the couple. The girls were in long blush pink dresses (I’m loving the light blush tones this season) and the guys were in grey suits (we all know about my love of grey suits). The guys were…maybe…a little bit rowdy but Chris got some awesome shots of them just having fun. And one of my favorite photos is the group photo of the whole bridal party all piled together—hello hot bridal party! :)

Shay & Jay, I hope your honeymoon was awesome and I cannot wait to share more photos soon. Alright, Let’s get to the photos!

Favorite Things:

• Shaylin’s gorgeous ballgown
• These two were laughing the whole time leading up to the first look…LOVE!
• You’ll see 2 first dance sequences of photos…I couldn’t choose…they both made me smile :)
• The maid of honor and best man killed it with the toasts, but Erika…you truly rocked it by singing a song about Shaylin & Jay to the tune of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story”. I mean, whoa!
• The dancing was awesome and partly driven by their band Splash who were amazing!
