Jen & Mike :: belly session

So I dropped my phone in the snow this afternoon. Not like “whoops, there goes my phone” more like “hmmm, I wonder where my phone is…” after I had come inside from shoveling for the last 45 minutes and found my coat pocket to be empty. So here is a white IPhone dropped in the [more than a foot of] white snow, somewhere on the block where I live where I was shoveling and intermittently jumping through 12+ inches of fresh white stuff throwing the ball to Guinness and playing in the street. Soooo, I had a friend calling my phone (thank goodness I had the ringer on, which I never do) and I’m running around the sidewalk, driveway, and up and down my road. I’m sure I looked ridiculous with my ear pointed toward the ground and trying my hardest to listen for the sonar ring I have on my phone (yes, I realize the irony of the ringtone). I finally pinpoint it to the street (awesome) and so I’m in the street trying to find the phone when the town plow trucks start heading up the road and I’m literally crunched in the road holding my arm up to stop the plows so I can locate the damn phone with the [now terribly annoying] sonar ringtone. I did eventually find it and held it up above my head and did a little dance in front of the three plow trucks that I had held up and felt quite victorious. One of the plow guys told me I won the lottery since I was mere seconds away from losing said white IPhone [with no applecare] to the rusted yellow plow blade. So that’s my story for the day…is anyone else ready for the spring?!?!

Anyway, let’s check out the fabulous Jen and Mike on this snowy and cold evening. I met them about a week and a half ago on a yucky day and we were lucky to use the beautiful Boston Public Library as our backdrop. Thank goodness for the BPL’s open courtyard and Jen and Mike’s cuteness—I’m pretty sure they can make ANY background look good. :) So excited for these two ever since I met them for their anniversary session in the summer. Big love to you both and I can’t wait to meet your daughter soon. <3 A few of my favorite things: 1. How amazing Jen looks 2. Mike is such a gentleman and an attentive husband...his love is evident in every image 3. The Boston Public Library (it saved us on this particular afternoon)
