Fun. That is honestly the first thing that comes to mind when I think of these two. Their wedding, their demeanor, their friends, their bridal party. Seriously, everyone was really so much fun! I have known Katrina and Christian for a few years now. I somehow stumbled upon this great group of friends who were all getting engaged/married around the same time and I also somehow keep getting hired to share in their most important moments. Honestly…pinch me…how did I get so lucky?!?!
Anyway, Katrina and Christian planned their whole day perfectly. A gorgeous venue overlooking the Manhattan skyline, a first look just to calm their nerves, extra time buffered between the ceremony and reception just for photos (gah, love), an amazing spread of food (and THE BEST vendor meal I’ve ever had), their first dances happened while the sun set over the city skyline, and the day was maybe a bit warm but absolutely perfect sunshine and clean light! I could go on and on and on with all of the beautiful details as well—”let love brew” coffee favors, cheers mugs at the escort card area, signature drinks, “Best Day Ever” napkins, dance floor accessories of wild colored sunglasses and glow necklaces, lace diecut menu cards, personalized paper straws, photo booth, end of the night sweets table. Seriously, the list is long and Katrina is my detail guru. I couldn’t stop photographing! And I apologize in advance for this very long blog post. :)
Katrina and Christian, I absolutely adore you two and I know you are patiently waiting for the photos so I’ll be quiet now. I hope you love this little peek!
Favorite Things:
• Heart shaped sunglasses!
• DETAILS! I can’t even name all of them here but you’ll see lots of pics
• Christian looked so dapper with his Burberry accessories and Ferragamo shoes (hotness)
• The way Katrina would laugh and lower her head in a bashful way, it was so cute. :)
• The moment before Katrina walked down the aisle and she kissed here dad and started crying. It was beautiful!
• Christian’s many comic-relief moments—the dance floor booty drop, the sunglasses entrance, the leg kick, I could go on but those are a few of my favorites. :)
But Christian was not to be outdone with his details. :)
