Can it always be fall in New England?!?! I mean, I just adore a fall session on the beach—the lighting is soft and even, the beach is empty, the colors are quiet and subdued…big love! I got to meet up with Kelly and Todd on a rather overcast day in Newport a couple of weeks ago and the light was to die for. Mix that with a well-dressed couple in soft pinks, grays, and neutrals (hey, they even match my site branding) and I was a VERY happy photographer!
I am so honored that Kelly and Todd have chosen me to photograph their wedding. I’ve known KVB for a few years now, ever since we spent a Labor Day weekend with thirty other people in the big house on Nantucket. (There are some really fun memories from that weekend..do you remember the stomping KVB?!?!) And when she met Todd and he started to show up in photos I knew there was something to be said for these two. Meeting Todd for the first time I noticed how kind and happy he was, how much he smiled looking at Kelly, and their level of total comfort with one another. Although they claimed to be nervous I think we got maybe just a few keepers. :)
