Molly and Sam were married last weekend at the stunning Ocean Edge Resort on Cape Cod. I love a classic New England venue and this had classic written all over it. It was a beautiful sprawling property and we tried to take advantage of it as much as possible, despite the light rain we got for most of the day. Molly & sam have been together since high school, and you know I love a story that begins with young love. These two are just the sweetest couple together and I loved all the shots we got. The guys wore white dinner jackets (such a dapper look) and the girls had long chartreuse dresses and carried deconstructed white and green bouquets done by the fabulous Boston Pollen. Molly’s Romona Keveza ballgown had a full lace bottom and she paired it with a cathedral length veil…eeeek so pretty!
When it came time to party Molly and Sam made sure everyone had fun with a 9-piece band that rocked the dance floor. The reception room was decked out in burlap, bright white and green bouquets, classic lined menu cards, and green colored water goblets at the tables…the whole room was stunning. During dances and toasts the sun came out and filled the room with warm orange light and it was a truly stunning cap to the day. Love!
Favorite Things:
• I’m a sucker for a white dinner jacket, it’s just such an elegant look
• Molly had the most beautiful full lace ballgown, you don’t often see that and it was perfect for her!
• Deconstructed bouquets are my favorite…Molly’s was also oval shaped, which fit perfectly and was easier to hold
• If you give me an old Linden tree with hanging branches I’m just such a happy photographer. ;)
