Last Saturday I got the awesome opportunity to second shoot with the fantastic [b]ecker down in Orange County. So there are a few perks of living on this west coast huh;) Brenna and Brett were such a fabulous couple, with fun friends and wonderful families. It was raining during the ceremony but the weather cooperated for the portraits and we got beautiful light and gorgeous skies to complement our stunning couple. I have nothing but great things to say about the entire day. Pictures are better than words though, so I’ll just get onto the photos!
But our bride, Brenna, out shined them anyway:)
They got married at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. This church was stunning! And thank goodness they had in indoor ceremony because it was POURING when the ceremony started.
After the ceremony though the skies parted and we were allowed to photograph on the grounds of the Mission. Gah, I love the sky in this image:)
These girls were all tons of fun!
Brenna chose a brown and red theme and the girls red shoes were hot!
Okay, Brenna, can you be a little less stunning so the rest of us girls can feel a bit better about ourselves?!?!
Then Brett joined in on the photographs.
I was second shooting here (something I don’t get to do nearly enough) and so these are all [b]’s poses and I got to hide behind trees and get different angles. So fun for me!
Did I mention how much I love second shooting? Here [b] was photographing Brenna but I got to grab this angle of Brett looking on. I heart this shot a lot!
Here’s a similar one in black and white.
And these. I couldn’t decide so I put them both up:)
Okay, favorite alert. This is definitely one of my favorite shots that I have EVER taken. Something about it makes me sooooooo happy. I love it!
Hotness! See the shadow…love:)
It was raining out just a touch so I grabbed this quick umbrella shot. I liked that it was among the other umbrellas;)
Brenna’s color scheme of brown and red was played out well in the reception room.
An evening shot. I love the deep blue skies just after sundown.
This is such a sweet moment during the toasts.
The first dance, you all know how I love a first dance…especially when the groom is singing to his bride:)
And I’ll end with this shot that I adore. My flash was off and so I was shooting at really low shutter speeds and a high ISO (f1.8 at 1/50 ISO 3200 for you photogs out there). This is frozen because of either Ashleigh’s or Becker’s flash that went off at the very same moment, but there is still enough movement. Definitely a favorite from the night!
Alright, so whoever said that photographers don’t like being in front of the camera was totally lying! We love jumping into photobooths and here is Becker, Ashleigh, and myself making ridiculous faces. I especially like the bottom left one where no one looks good because we’re caught in an off moment;) Oh well!

Hey Lexi, Your images are great! Well done. I shot with Becker Nov 6. It’s fun to follow other [b] schoolers who have shot with him. We should start a “shot with Becker” club. :)
