Stephanie and Justin had an amazing Peabody Essex Museum wedding last weekend. They ended up with a gorgeous day and the PEM is an amazing place chock full of different spots for unique and fun images. I just love so many of these and there is a HUGE portrait section because we ran all over the museum getting different, unique, quirky, fun portraits of the two of them:) Justin is also a photographer and a photography teacher, so at every available moment we were talking shop. Hey, I can’t help it…I love talking photo-shop. Ha get it?!?! Anyway, I adore these two and I think you’ll love their amazing wedding! Thank you Stephanie & Justin for inviting us to share in your wedding day:)
Stephanie’s amazing Melissa Sweet gown—look at that incredible detail!
While Jess and I were with Stephanie, Simon was down at the waterfront with the guys…love this shot!
Steph had gotten Justin these awesome Boston Red Sox cuff links:)
They opted for a first look, which is my very favorite. It leaves so much time for great photos and relieves a lot of the stress of the wedding day. This series is shot by Jess, who definitely had the best vantage point. Love.
Then we shot the bridal party photos. I loved the pops of pink against the old historic houses in Salem.
All of the flowers were done by the amazing Dana Markos, his work is always stunning! I love the texture in Steph’s bouquet.
Stephanie looked AMAZING…don’t you think?!?! Her hair and Makeup was done by Luiz Filho, and in addition to doing an awesome job he was so much fun and made everyone relaxed:)
The ceremony was held in the Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Museum, it’s kind of incredible!
Exiting the ceremony. Great shot grabbed by Simon.
Onto the portraits, and there are lots of them! We popped back into the library for this great shot.
Love, love, love this one—my favorite!
But this one is a close second:)
The light pouring in was beautiful!
Salem has all of these little nooks and crannies that are so great for photos!
The rings. I love how timeless Stephanie’s ring is against the backdrop of an old globe…cool!
Dana Markos did all of the event design as well as the flowers…amazing. This is the East India Marine Hall in the PEM and it is so beautiful!
The uplighting was done by Boston Uplights, who I happened to work with the day before at Laura & Brian’s wedding. Twice in one weekend is unheard of and they did a fantastic job at both venues! Definitely recommend them!
While the guests were downstairs at cocktail hour we ran around chasing the last bits of light in the museum. This was their idea and I heart this shot:)
A little motion in the atrium.
And dancing at the spiral staircase. The PEM has so many options for photos and I love all of them!
The East India Marine Hall lit up at night.
Here is a shot at night with available light. ISO 2500 at 1/25th of a second. Gosh I love my D700!
