FILLING YOUR WALLS AND REMINDing YOU OF LIFE’S SWEETEST SEASONS?
That’s my speciality.
A lifetime of memories.
Regardless of the season that you’re in, I love to focus on making you feel wonderful! I specialize in senior and family portraiture—giving you images that help you to celebrate and remember this moment in time. Senior sessions are special to me because I am a high school photography teacher (yes I really can’t get enough photography in my life) and family sessions were born from past wedding couples asking me to document their growing families and continuing our friendship and working relationship together!
Take a look through the photos below and if you want to book just reach out and I’ll help you plan your perfect session! So let’s find a day, pick a location that is meaningful to you and create images that will fill up the frames on your walls for years to come.

Isabel felt like she was hanging out with someone she knows and is really comfortable with, and not many people can do that. You are a special person and I can’t tell you enough how talented you are!

Absolutely! Depending on the look and vibe you want I can recommend a few favorite locations and figure out what works best for your portraits.
My portrait sessions are lifestyle sessions, think about things you love to do as a family—you want to bake cookies in your kitchen…let’s do that! Want to go fishing by the river…absolutely! Walk through the woods…my favorite. :) Draw with sidewalk chalk on your driveway…please invite me to photograph this!
For senior portraits definitely bring items from your favorite hobbies as well. Are you a guitarist? Bring your guitar. You love soccer? Let’s show that off! The beach is your favorite place to be? Then that’s where we’ll go!
If it rains during the session we will work to find a covered area to photograph in. I always watch the weather leading up to your shoot and we can reschedule for rain, or find a rain location.
The sooner the better! Because I photograph in New England most outdoor photo sessions are between April and early November…and almost everyone wants photos in October. So the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
Wear whatever makes you feel like you! These are your portraits, what do you want to hang on your wall? I’m happy to photograph you anywhere wearing anything…but let’s ditch the matching white shirts and jeans and just be who you are.
For senior portraits I usually suggest a more dressed down outfit (love those shorts and Red Sox tees, jeans and tall boots) and a more dressed up outfit (sweater dress with booties, simple black dress and heels).
Unless you’ve modeled professionally, you’re probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I’m in front of the camera.
You’re going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I help direct you through poses, I think you’ll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don’t worry about your kids. I’m pretty well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
Usually all sessions are booked 2 hours before sunset—that way we get that beautiful low sunset light. In the summer this can be as late as 6pm and in the fall it can be as early as 4pm.
If your kids are very young this obviously needs to coincide with nap-time so please inquire with me on the best time based on your schedule and I’ll recommend timing based on light. Sometimes family sessions with little ones are done in the early morning.
Within a few weeks of your session, I’ll contact you to choose a time to sit down for your gallery reveal. You’ll receive an email with a link to your gallery and a slideshow to view your photos for the first time with your family in the privacy of your own home!
The gallery will have a 24 hour sale to order prints, albums, framed art, and other keepsakes.
