So imagine this…I’m hiding behind a tree. Lindsey is along with me and waiting for my signal. “Yup…that’s them” I say and my heart starts beating really fast. To be a part of the moment when two people decide that they want to spend the rest of their lives with each other and be able to photograph it so they can keep that moment forever is so totally awesome. I kind of love that she has no idea and I know that he is excited and nervous and all of this is about to happen. Love!
Adrienne and Paul are totally adorable together and although it was raining all week leading up to this shoot (even pouring rain the morning of) I really wasn’t worried. We didn’t have a rain plan and for some reason I never stressed. 2 hours before the start of the shoot the sun came out for the first time in days and warmed the air and dried the pavement. It was such a gorgeous night for a proposal and I was, once again, so honored to be a part of such an special moment between two people. Adrienne and Paul, thank you for allowing me to be there to capture your engagement and I can’t wait to see you again in a couple of weeks. :)
• Stopping traffic during the actual proposal ;)
• Adrienne’s slightly nervous stance as Paul got down on one knee
• The perfect, gorgeous light we got that evening
We had kind of stopped traffic on this little cobblestone street during the proposal and this car was waiting to go by—when she passed she stopped and asked if Adrienne had said yes. It was a really cute moment. :)
