Tewksbury Country Club Wedding :: Kim & Jack

I hope you are all staying warm and safe in this blizzard. It has given me some much needed time to hunker down and get to my super belated blog posts. :( I have so much photo goodness to share with you and can’t wait to share the…wait for it…FOURTEEN remaining posts from 2012. I know. It’s awful. Unforgivable. Sorry.

Kim checked in with me about a week ago noticing that I had posted a blog post from this winter and she kindly said in her email that she wanted to make sure she hadn’t missed her post because she loves to hear my thoughts on the photos. I smiled…BIG! :) Because the thing is that I love to share my imagery with you, but more importantly I love to share with you the stories of my couples. Their amazing love stories and fun events and the overall awesomeness that makes up their wedding day. But making sure I give every post the love and attention it deserves is the very thing that has kept me from blogging properly over the last few months. So, I won’t be commenting on every pic anymore (or at least not for the next few posts) but will give you a summary of what to look for—my very favorite moments from the day. So look for those below!

Kim and Jack were married on one of the most beautiful fall days (I got really lucky with my fall weddings this year) in early October. The wind was just barely blowing and the temperature was absolutely perfect. They chose the most adorable little chapel that I have ever seen—it was set back from the road surrounded by picture perfect trees turning colors and just starting to lose their leaves, it was, quite honestly, like walking through a movie set in the fall. The details at the Tewksbury Country Club were perfect with a focus on school themed goodies (a make your own lunch bag station) and upscale autumn flair. There was a surprise visit from Rene Rancourt and the entire wedding got to enjoy his singing and view the Bruins Stanley Cup ring (his visit was arranged by Jack’s mom, you rock Pam)! The night ended with tons of dancing and lots more laughter, here are a few of my favorite moments. :)

1. Check out the most adorable little chapel I have ever seen!
2. The moments of explosive laughter during the ceremony, I’m not sure why this makes me so happy but I love a little laughter during a wedding ceremony. ;)
3. Kim’s awesome details and her focus on cute school themed goodies (Kim’s a school teacher). :)
4. Rene Rancourt. Not being a sports gal myself I really didn’t understand how awesome this was but Jack seemed pretty happy!!!
5. The light during their first dance.
