We’ve had some pretty great weather so far this summer. So great that I was beyond excited when Shannan & Alex chose World’s End as the location for their engagement photos—the water, the fields, the stone walls, the tall grasses—a dream location. It was a beautiful sunny day and just a little bit cooler but when we arrived at World’s End (which was where Alex proposed, by the way) it turned incredibly foggy. The fog actually adds to the feel and emotion of the images but, of course, everyone wants some sunshine during their portraits so I kept hoping that it would break. Toward the end of our session we were down at the water and BAM the sun came out. Literally just like that…so much fun. These two lucky people got like 2 different engagement shoots in one…lucky lucky! We went a little longer than usual because I just couldn’t believe the change in light and these two are so cute together (I guess that’s what 13 years together will do). Okay, let’s just get to the photos!
Favorite Things:
• World’s End will always be a favorite location to shoot at for engagement photos
• I honestly can’t believe the difference between the fog and the sunshine, both are truly so cool
• Shannan & Alex are high school sweethearts—that will always warm my heart. Always.
If you are planning to take your engagement photos at World’s End in Hingham, definitely reach out to me for this beautiful location!
